Youth Group

Junior High and High School

Sunday Mornings

11:00am - 12:00pm

We meet upstairs in the Youth Room for Sunday School directly following the service during the school year (September - June). We offer light snacks and Italian sodas, game time, prayer, fellowship and Bible Study.

Tuesday Evenings

6:30pm - 8:30pm

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Youth Room upstairs. It is made up of youth in grades 6 to 12.  It is a chance for our youth to come together for fun games, listen to Bible teaching while sharing in memorable experiences. Throughout our year we will host dinner events, weekend retreats, and different fellowship activities.  We are hopeful for a possible missions trip coming up, and look for opportunities to serve our local community in ways that glorify God and all that He has done for us.

New Series
beginning in May

Join us on Tuesday evenings at Battle Ground Baptist as we begin a new series on May 12th called "Unbelievable". Whether you've gone to church your whole life or just started today, it’s understandable if you have questions about God and the Bible, especially when some things seem unbelievable. But our doubts don’t have to destroy our faith. In this series from the book of John, we’ll look at how Jesus met people where they were, showing that when we have questions, he’s always listening, and that even when we don’t understand, we can trust God’s character. We’ll also see that, when we can’t explain everything, we can trust what we know for sure, and trusting God’s plan is key to knowing that when we want to walk away, God isn’t finished yet.

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us." — 1 John 5:14 (esv)

We look forward to seeing you there.  If you have any questions, please reach out to our youth director, Ryan Schwartz.

ACTS Intensive Weekend

A small group attended the ACTS Intensive Program over at the Antioch Orchard's in Tieton Washington this May. The ACTS Program is put on by our Missionary Partner's at the Great Commandments Ministries. This small group spent the weekend away getting a preview of their campus for a GAP year program that they offer to post high school young adults looking for what's next in their life. They also participated in incredible fellowship, three session's about discipleship, spiritual disciplines and the importance of serving others, powerful worship, time of solitude and bible study, amazing meals prepared homemade, games and late night testimonies. This time away was incredibly intentional for the small group that went to reset their rhythm of life to reflect and glorify God in everything we do and say. Let us know if you are interested in attending next year! Check out more from Great Commandments Ministry and what they offer!

Worship Night

This past April our Youth Group hosted our very first all Worship Night. We invited our youth families and included our College & Career Group for this evening event. It was an incredible evening of intentional worship, our Senior Pastor shared about what worship is, our Youth Director shared a brief devotional, several youth student's shared testimonies and what God is doing in their life, wonderful fellowship, snacks, and late night games. We hope to see you at our next worship night this summer, July 16!

Youth Service Projects

In November, our Youth Group went through a series about the importance of serving others.  God sent His Son, not only to be with us but to serve us.  He healed the sick, loved the unlovable, fed the hungry, and gave His life for our salvation.  When we serve others, it is pleasing to God and fulfilling His commandments of loving your neighbor as you love yourself.  We serve with a humble heart, and in all that we do, it is to glorify God.
Our youth completed service projects around the community this past Winter and Spring to help out those in our church family in need.  We cleared many yards of fallen leaves, overgrowth, cut back trees and branches, pressure washed slippery driveways and walking paths, made dump runs to rid away clutter and garbage, detailed cars for a fresh new look, and delivered and spread gravel walkways and bark dust for garden beds.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another,
as good stewards of God's varied grace.
1 Peter 4:10
Thank you church family for giving us the opportunity to learn, grow and serve each other as the Lord calls us to.

Winter Camp 2026

Our High School boys had the opportunity to spend President's Weekend in February away at Camp Tadmor! Dr. Sam Baker was the main speaker who used to be BGBC's Associate Pastor. The four day and three night adventure was complete with fantastic worship, encouraging sessions, intentional Bible studies, cold plunges, little sleep, hours of paintball, and many more eventful memories.

Annual Nerf BAttle

This last summer's annual Nerf war was EPIC! Suspenseful music, strobe lights, fog machine, and endless rounds of fun. We hope to see you at our next Nerf War COMING SOON! Mark your calendars for Tuesday June 30, 2026!

Girls Retreat

This past September, our Girls took a weekend getaway to Long Beach, Washington. The girls enjoyed delicious food, little sleep, hot tub time, campfire's, crafts, henna tattoos, beach time, going to town for ice cream and bugs, and a Saturday Morning Bible Study. We hope you join us for our next Girls Beach weekend! This year we will be heading back to Long Beach Washington but this time it will be for the Kite Festival, August 21-23!
