Junior High and High school youth group

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Youth Center upstairs. It is made up of youth in grades 6 to 12.  It is a chance for our youth to come together for fun games, listen to Bible teaching while sharing in memorable experiences. Throughout our year we will host dinner events, weekend retreats, and different fellowship activities.  We are hopeful for a possible missions trip coming up, and look for opportunities to serve our local community in ways that glorify God and all that He has done for us.  

    New Series - February 24

    Life can feel confusing. We hit moments where we’re not sure which way to go, what decision to make, or how to figure things out. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a map that could guide us through life—not just for directions, but for making choices, living life, and knowing God better? If you've ever been there, good news! The Bible is more than an old book—it’s a map that helps us find our way. In this 4-week series from the book of Matthew, we’ll discover how the Bible helps us see things differently, shows us how to be like Jesus, reveals what God is like, and teaches us what is true.

    Winter Serving Projects

    In November, we learned about the importance of serving others.  God sent His Son, not only to be with us but to serve us.  He healed the sick, loved the unlovable, fed the hungry, and gave His life for our salvation.  When we serve others, it is pleasing to God and fulfilling His commandments of loving your neighbor as you love yourself.  We serve with a humble heart, and in all that we do, it is to glorify God.


    Our youth are currently completing service projects around the community to help out those in need.  We have been cleaning many yards of fallen leaves and branches, making dump runs to rid away clutter and garbage, detailing cars for a fresh new look, and building a gate to keep things accessible and put away.  


    Now accepting requests for Spring Projects. 


    As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.  1 Peter 4:10

    • BIZI Farms Event

      Our fall harvest event was an amazing night of mystery and fun. The College and Career group at BGBC  combined with our youth group and led the mystery game for us. Pizza and drinks, a mystery to solve inside of the corn maze, a bon fire and memorable fellowship was had by all. 

    • Kick OFF event

      This Fall we ended summer and kicked off our year with a delicious BBQ dinner event. September began a Series called Stick Together, about the importance of how friends can influence us, wise friends can help guide us, good friends are worth fighting for, and we will always have Jesus. October and November we have been in a Series called Even Still, a study on pain and grief, focusing on Lamentations. 

    • ladies retreat to  long beach

      The young ladies and leaders had a weekend away in Long Beach, WA. There was time spent on the beach playing volleyball, ankle deep wave jumping, fun trip to town for ice cream, fellowship with each other, and activities drawing our attention on our Lord. 

    • Nerf Night

      Our summer event was an epic nerf night.  Complete with LED strobes, smoke machine, great games, and memorable fellowship.  The evening was closed with a message about spiritual warfare, prayers, and snacks.

    • Summer Teaching

      This summer we learned about the importance of routines to help us grow more vertical in our walk with the Lord.  Routines in prayer, worship, and bible reading are daily practices we need to implement to develop spiritual maturity.

    • Men's Retreat to Lake Billy Chinook

      The young men and leaders had a weekend away at the Lake Billy Chinook cabin.  There was time spent on the water, with each other, and our Lord.
